The Global Open Science Steering Committee is convened by the UNESCO Director-General to assist her in the implementation of the 2021 UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science. The Steering Committee identifies key opportunities and challenges in its implementation and provides oversight of the progress made in each region by different science actors.
