Climate Change Distance Learning Course

The impacts of climate change are already being perceived in many countries. At the same time, it is still challenging for people who do not work directly with the subject to understand the basic concepts of this change. For example,

  • What gases effectively contribute to the greenhouse effect?
  • What is the projected temperature change for this century?
  • How does the international negotiation process on climate change work?
  • What adaptation and mitigation options are available?
  • How to select the most suitable adaptation and mitigation options?
  • Where does the funding come from?

This free distance learning course is designed to provide answers to these and other fundamental questions about climate change. The course modules have been developed and peer-reviewed by , a partnership of more than 30 multilateral organizations that supports Member States in designing and implementing sustainable and oriented learning to address climate change.
