The project's main aim is to realize the creative potential of children and young people by promoting the diversity of cultural expressions and strengthening friendly relations through peace and harmony building based on the concept of "culture of peace". The festival makes a significant contribution to popularizing the work of Kazakh composers and choreographers by introducing their works in a contemporary interpretation into the concert's music programme. This year's festival is distinctive because the organizers aim to speak to young people in their language by promoting contemporary art.

Talented individuals from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan between the ages of 12 to 18, who wish to develop their vocal, instrumental, and choreographic skills, are invited to participate in the project. Participants in The Planet of ART 2023 will have the opportunity to represent their country and act as young ambassadors for the culture of the world at the event's international stage. Thanks to the efforts of a wide range of partners, participation in the competition and the final program itself is completely free of charge.

The finalists will be invited to Kazakhstan for an educational and cultural programme. Children will have a unique opportunity to participate in a series of trainings and master-classes, learn about the national culture, gain valuable experience of cooperation with leading teachers and artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and make new friends from different countries of the world. Two large-scale gala concerts with the solemn award ceremony for the winners in the cities of Astana and Pavlodar will become the culmination of the music cycle of the festival "The Planet of ART 2023". The concerts are a concentration of world music culture and the work of domestic composers in one theatrical programme, where its concept and dramaturgy will be aligned to the theme of this year's festival, "Matching Hearts".

The project is divided into three directions: Vocal, Instrumental, and Choreography. Applications will be accepted until March 15, 2023. Qualifying rounds within Kazakhstan will take place in all 17 regions of the country, as well as in the cities of Astana, Almaty, and Shymkent.
