The 2022 Transforming Education Summit (TES) called on actions in, among others:
- Quality data collection
- Data collection of sex- and age-disaggregated data
- Data collection that takes into consideration characteristics that compound and lead to inequality
- Evidence-based monitoring based on national ownership, participation and transparency
- Country support in collecting and using data
This meeting aims to:
- Exchange on how to collect high-quality data
- Discuss how to help governments make informed decisions on gender equality in education
- Identify opportunities for collaboration
Discussions will be founded on ongoing work with the Global Education Monitoring report, the post-TES Global Platform for Gender Equality and Girls’ and Women’s Empowerment in and through Education and the Accountability for Gender Equality in Education project (AGEE).
