The X. International Leibniz Congress took place from July 18–23, 2016 in Hanover (Germany). More than 400 scholars and interested people from 32 countries participated in the multinational conference, which was headlined by the motto “Für unser Glück oder das Glück anderer”/“For our Happiness or the Happiness of Others”. The papers formulating the lectures given during the congress have been published in six volumes (Hildesheim, Olms 2016/2017). Host of the event were the following international philosophical associations: Gottfried-Wilhelm-Leibniz-Gesellschaft, Leibniz Society of North America, Sociedad Española Leibniz, Societas Leibnitiana Japonica, Sodalitas Leibnitiana (Italien), Société d’études leibniziennes de langue française, Association Leibniz Israel, Red Iberoamericana Leibniz, Centre d’études leibniziennes (Paris), Societatea Leibniz din România, Sino-German Leibniz Research Centre (Peking).
