Promoting Peace through the Green Movement in Angola
Martha & Niki | Street Dance
In 2010 Martha Nabwire and Niki Tsappos took part in the biggest international Street Dance Competition, Juste Debout in Paris. It was the first time ever two women became World Champions in Hip Hop. This film depicts their love of dance, each other and about friendship put to the test. About desires, yearning and finding the right path in life.
Pamoja is an innovative web-based experience, inspired by a series of international solidarity exhibitions that have been developed by Liliesleaf in recent years, focused on international solidarity and the role it played in supporting liberation movements, past and present.
Pamoja is a story about a shared commitment to decolonisation and national liberation, and a long relationship of cooperation between Sweden and ten countries in Africa. It hopes to inspire young people today to put energy into making the world a better place for all.
We hope you will use Pamoja to reflect on the present and the future so that together we can make the world a better place.
