Archives of the International Institute of Intellectual Cooperation, 1925-1946

The archives of the Institute consist of 115 linear meters of files, documents and publications, which are in the custody of the UNESCO Archives and are kept at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris. They reflect the activities of the Institute and the involvement of personalities and intellectuals from different parts of the world, including Rabindranath Tagore, Marie Curie, Albert Einstein, Miguel de Unamuno, Henri Bergson, Thomas Mann and Gabriela Mistral. These archives provide evidence on the hopes, dreams and practical actions of the interwar international intellectual community.
