A global platform for the transformation of education

The Global Education Coalition (GEC), as a broad network of of 233 Member organizations, has three primary functions:

  • Mobilizer and coordinator. 
  • Accelerator for SDG 4.
  • A model for multistakeholder collaboration

Looking forward, the Global Education Coalition seeks to boost:

  • Digital transformation of education: By 2030, the Digital Transformation Collaborative will support 50 countries in designing national digital transformation of education strategies.
  • Youth employability: the Global Skills Academy will help 10,000,000 youth develop employability skills by 2030.
  • Teacher education, including AI skills: By 2030, the Global Teachers Campus will support 25 countries to integrate digital and AI competency frameworks in teacher education and professional development.
  • Science of learning and policymaking: By 2030, the Global Learning House will set up the largest network of science of learning experts and decision-makers to inform the application of science of learning in decision-making.
