The Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme (IHP) Bureau is a vital executive body that operates between sessions of the IHP Council. It plays a crucial role in programme oversight and implementation. The Bureau comprises six elected representatives from UNESCO Member States.

The 64th session of the IHP Bureau will take place from 29 to 30 April 2025 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France. During this session, members will assess progress on the implementation of current water-related programmes, discuss emerging challenges, and provide direction.
