World Women in Neuroscience (WWN)
World Women in Neuroscience (WWN) is an independent organization dedicated to improving career development, mentoring and networking opportunities for female neuroscientists around the world, with special attention to women in disadvantaged regions. The initiative provides a wide range of activities, including structured mentoring programmes, online and in-person networking events, capacity-building webinars, and virtual career fairs, etc. In addition, WWN offers a variety of grants to support professional development, fund scientific outreach activities, foster partnerships between early- and mid-career women neuroscientists in under-resourced countries, subsidize travel costs for participation in national or international conferences, as well as short-term training opportunities.
